WINE AND FINE FOOD OF THE ISLANDS— 2nd EDITION
Hôtels Accents presents the second edition of “Wine and Fine Food of the Islands,” to be held September 21 and 22, 2018 at Château Madelinot.
Broadly inspired by many world festivals and lovers of the Islands, the concept was born out of a desire to create a deeper immersive gourmet experience around the wealth of Magdalen Island food and wine. Over a 2-day period, the event will bring together lovers of fine food and wine sourced locally and beyond.
Natalie Richard, an adventurous sommelier, will take part in the event for this second edition, developing food and wine pairings. An enthusiastic communicator, Natalie has over 20 years of experience in the gourmet food and wine field. A certified sommelier, she discusses wines on the radio, publishes articles for different media and facilitates culinary and wine events as part of the Jessica Harnois and Vins au féminin team. In addition to her involvement in the tastings offered during the event, Natalie will give different talks on the art of entertaining, on her travels in search of new wines and on food and wine pairings for beginners.
This event is intended for both locals and visitors. Hôtels Accents' goal is to have this event develop over the years until it becomes a classic, not only on the archipelago, but also around the world.
