HÔTELS ACCENTS RAISES THE ARCHIPELAGO'S VISIBILITY
DURING THE 2018 EDITIONS OF PLEIN ART AND THE SALON DES MÉTIERS D’ART DU QUÉBEC

Hôtels Accents is proud to announce a new partnership for a 2nd edition as sponsor of a Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec event.

After sponsoring the 38th edition of Plein Art held in Quebec City from July 31 to August 12, 2018, Hôtels Accents is partnering for a second time as official sponsor for the Conseil des métiers d’art, but this time for the 63rd edition of the Salon des métiers d’art du Québec, in Montreal, from December 6 to 16, 2018.

About Plein Art

Founded in 1980, Plein Art is the largest summer gathering of arts and crafts professionals in Canada. Under huge tents, more than 140 exhibitors demonstrate their know-how every year to over 100,000 visitors. Plein Art is a production of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec, the only association recognized under the Act respecting the professional status of artists (S-32.01) to represent professional artists and craftspeople in the field of arts and crafts active throughout Quebec.

About the Salon des métiers d’art du Québec
The Salon des métiers d’art is the largest gathering of Quebec artists and craftspeople. Founded in 1955, this year's edition, from December 6 to 16, 2018, is the 63rd. The event, which takes pride in being part of Quebec's cultural landscape, is held in the majestic Place Bonaventure exhibition hall, a delightful and magical setting!

Held in December of each year, the Salon is a must-attend event where visitors can find unique, reputable craft items made by artisans. It's a unique opportunity to meet more than 400 craftspeople from Quebec, discover their new works and see and touch Quebec talent and creativity. It's a place where artists can meet their audience.

These two events welcome more than 100 ,000 visitors who value local craftspeople and who have considerable buying power. Partnering with these events raises the visibility of the Magdalen Islands as a prime destination for lovers of culture and art of every genre.

Our partnership with the two events takes the form of a contest which awards a grand prize in partnership with Pascan Aviation. Contest participants will have a chance to win a culture and discovery package, including their plane ticket to the Magdalen Islands, “Cultural Package” accommodations at Château Madelinot and a table d’hôte meal at Resto Bistro Accents. The total value of the prize amounts to more than $4 ,000.

We are proud to work collaboratively with a major regional partner to provide excellent visibility to the Magdalen Islands in the Quebec market.

Through this promotional initiative, Hôtels Accents promotes the archipelago's culture and local craftspeople and contributes to the tourist development of the Magdalen Islands.
